Transfer to Dinnammare (1124 m. above sea level), dominating the city of Messina, it is the ‘door’ to Sicily as it straddles the Ionian and the Tyrrhenian seas. On the hillsides, immersed in the wonderful scents of Mediterranean flora, a panoramic path leads through the sinuous geography of the Peloritani Mountains with their towering cliffs – the result of ancient, powerful geological events.

Transfer to Tono beach from where, after some steep steps, the Manica path starts. It will lead us, immersed in the colors and scents of Mediterranean flora, towards Mt. Trino and then to Cape Milazzo. From here we'll continue towards S. Antonio Bay, where there was once an ancient 'tonnara' (for tuna fishing and above which is a rock sanctuary dedicated to S. Antonio of Padova.
Transfer to Montalbano di Elicona and then we'll go from here, among beech and oak trees, in the heart of the natural reserve of Malabotta Woods. Finally we reach the Rocche dell Argimusco, imposing and ancient megaliths sculptured by centuries of erosion, where pre-Hellenic peoples celebrated their sacred rites.
Transfer to Piano Provenzana (1800 m. above sea level) where the trail starts. It will take us through the lava from the 2003 eruption to Mt. Nero (2049m.). From there we'll walk on the spectacular 'lava cordato' of Dammusi Pass and after we'll go down to the cave dei lamponi.
